Back dropped by the beautiful Swan River and Blackwall Reach.

The Clubroom was started in 1960 and was ready, along with the playing fields, for the 1961 season.

The ground used to be east/ west until the sun proved too much of a problem for players, especially the goalies.

The new ground and clubhouse coincided with us winning our first 'A' grade premiership in 20 years. Up until then, we had no clubrooms and our home ground had been Fremantle Park with some junior games held at Durdham Crescent, Bicton, above the Melville Water Polo Club. Before 1961, we trained at the Wauhope Park soccer ground, although it was only a field then, a change shed and no lights.

First extension was completed in 1976 by the EFTC, our jubilee year, as we were re-formed in 1926, also a premiership year, after some years being defunct. Most of our players played with Fremantle during those times.

Second extension was completed about 10 years ago at EFLC cost.

Of course, when we changed the ground to north/south, we could fit in 'almost' two grounds and then the malthoid cricket pitch was laid between them.

The ground originally, was for the exclusive use of  EFLC, at a peppercorn rent, on the basis of a handshake between Hugh Rudderham and the then EFTC Town Clerk, Lyn Latham. Unfortunately before it could be confirmed in writing, Mr Latham passed away and the 'gentleman's agreement' was never formally confirmed.
